Gregory Albert a member of The NJ State PBA, which is the largest law enforcement union in the state, representing over 33,000 sworn officers. Greg started his labor journey as a new police officer in 2014, speaking up for new hires in the height of Chapter 78, the devastating health premium share law. He was soon elected as the state delegate of his local PBA in 2016, a role he continues to hold. Greg has since worked his way up to the Co-Chairman position in his County PBA Conference and sits on the state PBA's Scholarship, Organization, and Collective Negotiations Committees. Greg has vast knowledge and experience with the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC), negotiating contracts, resolving disputes, filing grievances, interest and grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practices, and improving labor relations. With a deep understanding of labor and a track record of successful interventions, Greg is dedicated to fostering harmonious and productive unions and workplaces.

Greg holds a BA in Criminal Justice from Caldwell University and is currently enrolled at Rutgers University for their Public Sector Labor Relations Program.

Ryan Edwish has been a union worker his whole life.  From his first job in high school as a union cashier all the way to his current position as a union field representative for the largest public sector union in the state, Ryan understands the importance of advocating for a better working environment and a better living wage.  Ryan served as a high school math teacher for 16+ years during which time he became very active in his local union.  Ryan has filled many roles through his 24 year career in union work.  From local association rep (shop steward) to grievance chair to local president, he has held all of the positions to understand and assist your local association in whatever comes your way.  After becoming heavily involved in his association, he decided to change careers and was hired by the NJEA to serve as a field representative on a full time basis.  He currently serves in that capacity, representing 13 local associations and nearly 3,000 union members to assist in any need from local association organizing to grievance resolution to contract negotiations.  In addition to his active role as a union advocate, he has held an active role as a firefighter since 1998.  Holding positions from firefighter all the way up the chain of command to Chief of Department, Ryan’s passion for the fire service has been part of his life since growing up in a firehouse next to his father.

Ryan holds a BA and BS in Mathematics from Bloomsburg University, an MA in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University, a certificate in Public Sector Labor Relations from Rutgers University, and is certified through the State of NJ as a Firefighter II, Fire Officer I, and Fire Instructor Level 2.

Dr. Christopher Tamburro has vast experience representing public sector labor unions. His career in advocacy began when he was called upon by the leadership of his local union to coordinate job actions during stalled negotiations. After implementing a successful organizing strategy, Chris was elected as local president, representing 280 local members for nearly nine years. In this capacity, he led the unit in successfully fighting a privatization campaign that threatened the jobs of 60 members, negotiated two competitive contracts and several sidebar agreements, engaged in consistent contract enforcement strategies, and increased the organization's positive profile in the community. In 2015, Chris was hired as a consultant to New Jersey's largest and most powerful public sector labor union. In this role, he has negotiated dozens of collective bargaining agreements, written and adjudicated over one hundred complex grievances, represented local associations in arbitration, mediated disputes between members, represented members in front of management and boards, assisted locals with designing organizing campaigns, and assisted with governance and compliance, amongst other assigned duties. He is frequently requested to conduct advocacy training and has been a guest speaker to students in graduate-level conflict resolution and collective bargaining classes.

Chris was elected to the Verona Township Council in 2021 and has served as Mayor since 2023. One of his key initiatives as mayor is to recognize the dedication of the community's emergency services and municipal employees. Chris has been an EMT since 2002, and served two terms as a department chief and almost two decades as an officer of several organizations. He actively serves in emergency management capacities on the local and county levels.

Chris has a BA in Political Science from The College of New Jersey, a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a a Doctor of Letters Degree from Drew University.  He has been selected for publication in the 2025 edition of Marquis' Who's Who in America.
